My prayers and condolences are with the family. From what I've read Jay was a wonderful man. A beautiful life cut short too soon. Sadly, I only knew Jay as a little boy. In this current society families are spread all over the country and often lose touch with each other. My father, Al Fairlamb, was Jay's dad's cousin. I pray God's peace that passes understanding will comfort you all.

To the Fairlamb Family. While I've known Kim for a very long time I feel that I know you as well through our conversations. I can't even begin to tell you how the passing of your husband, father, grandfather has saddened me. He was truly a great man, a great American having served his country well. But most of all a great role model to those who knew him and a wonderful husband, dad and grandpa to those closest to him. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.
