Alice Marie Brown (OBrien) At Rest , December 9, 2019 . Born in New Jersey April 18, 1934 . Daughter of Tom & Ethel OBrien. Wife to James Oliver Brown who predeceased her in 2014. Sister to Nora C Morse & brother Tommy OBrien. Alice was a dedicated wife, mother & caretaker over the years. She had many friends & made friends easily wherever she went. She had a practical way of looking at things and always used that as her way of living . She worked 25 years for the Kmart corporation until retirement, Alice loved swimming , whether at the pool or going to the beach at Seaside or anywhere on the Jersey shore. Alice also had a love for animals, dogs, and she had a bird named Coco . She is survived by members of her family including, her beloved sister Nora C. Morse, brother Tommy OBrien, daughter Kathleen Carricaburu , and daughter Colleen M. Brown . Loving nieces , Ellie Scarbrough, Stacey Mendez and Shannon OBrien Purcell. Memorial visitation and funeral service will be held Saturday January 25, 2020 from 3:00-5:00pm at the Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ.
