Andrew Knapp Jr.

Andrew Knapp, Jr., age 70, of Butler, formerly of Paterson, died Wednesday, December 31, 2008. Mr. Knapp was born in Paterson, NJ the son of the late Andrew and the late Claire Francis (Roe) Knapp. He was employed by Hostess Cakes in Saddle Brook, NJ for 30 years.Mr. Knapp was a member of Board of Education in Butler for 20 years, the Wallkill Country Club, Franklin, NJ, a veteran of the United States Navy, and a parishioner of St. Anthony RC Church.He is survived by his devoted wife Veronica (Schuler) for 46 loving years, three beloved daughters, Lorraine Kremer and husband John Douglas, Cheryl Engdahl and husband Brad, and Kelly Knapp, four cherished grandchildren, Kellyann, Rachel, Brian, and Brandon, three loving sisters, Claire Smith, Janet Hentschel, and Denise Hallock and husband Bob, one dear brother, Robert Knapp, and also survived by many nieces and nephews. Andrew was pre deceased in life by his brother John Knapp. Viewing hours will be Monday, January 5th , 2008, from 2-4pm & 6-9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ. The funeral mass will be Tuesday at 11:00am at St. Anthony RC Church, 65 Bartholdi Ave, Butler. Burial to follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery, Butler.
