Betty Gleason Rogers

Betty Gleason Rogers, age 85, of , Pompton Plains, formerly of Bloomingdale, NJ, died Friday, June 26, 2009. Mrs. Rogers was born in Newark, NJ, the daughter of the late Leroy and the late Mary (Craig) Gleason. She was a Teacher at the Martha B. Day Elementary School Bloomingdale, NJ, for many years. Mrs. Rogers was a member of Cocker Spaniel Club of North Jersey. She is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, Stanley J. Rogers, two beloved children, Stanley Jay Rogers, Janet Ryans and husband John, and Daughter in law Kathy Rogers, Brother in law Charles Rogers Sr. and wife Roberta, Sister in law Ruth Gleason, cherished grandmother of Dan Barry, Tom Ryans, Carrie Ryans, Chelsea Rogers, Lindsey Rogers, Kortney Rogers, and adored great grandmother of Jake Barry. Betty was pre deceased by her loving son James Rogers. Also surviving are nieces and nephews. Viewing hours will be Monday, June 29th, 2009, from 2-4pm, and 7-9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held Tuesday 10:00am at the Interfaith Chapel At Cedar Crest Village, Pompton Plains, NJ. Burial will follow at Mt. Rest Cemetery, Butler, NJ.
