Donald E Stalter, Sr.

Donald E. Stalter, Sr., age 75, lifelong resident of Bloomingdale, NJ, died Wednesday, November 14, 2012. Mr. Stalter was born in Bloomingdale, NJ the son of the late William and the late Lenore (Weaver) Stalter. He was a heavy equipment operator for John Baum Inc. in Pompton Plains, NJ and was an avid camper who loved the outdoors. He is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Stella (Brown) Stalter, four beloved children, Donald Stalter, Jr., Kevin Stalter and fiancee Tracie Marquat, Michelle Stalter and fiancee Scott Crum and Melissa Barnes and husband Edward the III, two loving siblings, Charles Stalter and wife Barbara and Lenora Powers and husband Richard and his cherished pets, Buddy, Buster, Bandit, Pixie and Kiki. Donald was pre deceased by his dear son Kurt Stalter. Viewing hours will be Saturday, November 17th, 2012 from 11 am to 1pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held Saturday 1:00pm also at the funeral home. Burial to follow in Mt Rest Cemetery, Butler NJ.
