Emily M. Schaefer

Emily M. Schaefer, age 91, of Bloomingdale, formerly of Butler, entered into eternal rest, Saturday, February 2, 2008. Mrs. Schaefer was born in Butler, NJ the daughter of the late Augstine S. and the late Gertrude (Mertz) Guenter. She worked at Mildred's Bridal Shop Hawthorne, NJ as a Fashion Consultant.Mrs. Schaefer was a member of the hospital Auxiliary and volunteer at St Claire Hospital, Denville, NJ, and a parishioner of St. Anthony's RC Church, Butler.She is survived by one daughter Susan Sauntry, two brothers, Gerard Guenter, and Clifford Guenter, one sister, Lillian Croop, and one cherished grandchild, Molly Sauntry. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Emily was pre deceased by her devoted husband William, a beloved son Michael, a brother Ernest Guenter, and a sister Clair Mitsch. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
