Joan L. Mckenna

McKenna- Joan L. , age 75, of Butler, formerly of Bay Ridge Brooklyn, died Saturday, June 6, 2009. Mrs. McKenna was born in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of the late James and the late Elizabeth (Ridley) Heaning. She was a retired Administrative Assistant for Holborn Corp. N.Y., New York. Mrs. McKenna was a member of Red Hat Society-Queen Joan of the Brooklyn Rubies, and parishioner of St. Anthony's RC Church, Butler, NJ. Beloved mother of Bruce McKenna, Kathleen Mc Kenna, Joanne McKenna Llewellyn, and Debra Centinaro and husband Robert. Loving sister of John, Bernard, Ronald, Brian, Thomas, and Billy Heaning, Margurite Garguilo, and Dawn Cappazalo. Cherished grandmother of eight, and great grandmother of five. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. Joan was predeceased by her devoted husband Michael, and loving siblings James, Frank, and Michael Heaning, and Sharon Feltman. Viewing hours will be Monday, June 8, 2009 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, and Tuesday, June 9, 2009, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral Mass will be held Wednesday 10:00am at St. Anthony RC Church, Butler, NJ. Burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Butler.
