Malcolm Allison, age 85, of Butler, formerly of Pompton Lakes, entered into eternal rest, Thursday, April 26, 2007 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pompton Plains.Mr. Allison was born February 13, 1922 in Kearny, NJ, the son of the late Walter Bertram and the late Lorette (Hurty) Allison. He married Catherine Kondrat March 22, 1947 at The First Presbyterian Church Of Arlington, NJ. During World War II, he served as an Air Force Sargeant from 1942 - 1946. Malcolm worked for Union Camp Corp. in Clifton, as a die maker for 35 years before retiring in 1987.Devoted husband of Catherine "Karen" (nee Kondrat) for 60 loving years. Beloved father of Lois Romeo and late husband John, and Dean and wife Caryl. Cherished grandfather of Meg, Jason, and Adam Romeo, and Jessica and Colin Allison. Loving brother of Jean Rinehart, and the late Bertram and Donald Allison. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.Calling hours will be Sunday, April 29, 2007, from 2:00 -4:00 and 7:00-9:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. The funeral will be Monday 10:30am also at the funeral home.Burial will be in Mt. Rest Cemetery, Butler on Monday at 11:30 am.Memorials may be made to St. Anthony RC Church 65 Bartholdi Ave. Butler, NJ 07405, or your favorite charity in his memory.
