Mary Ellen Eckrich

Mary Ellen Eckrich, age 94 of Butler, New Jersey, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2023. She was born in Butler to the late Franklin and Ellen (Struble) Decker. Mary Ellen was a lifelong resident of Butler, a wonderful mother and homemaker, and with her husband Lester they raised six children. She was an avid reader, enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and was a lifelong Yankees fan.

Mary Ellen is survived by her six loving children, Ellen Wassong, Cathy Mills, Les Eckrich, Patty Vreeland, Janet Eckrich, and Michael Eckrich, seven adored grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 64 years, Lester Eckrich.

A visitation will be held Sunday, March 26, 2023, from 4:00pm-7:00pm at the Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ. A mass will be offered on Monday, March 27, 2023, 11:00am, at St. Anthony's of Padua Church, 65 Bartholdi Ave, Butler. A burial will immediately follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery, Butler.
