May L. Jackovics

May L. Jackovics, 89, of Pompton Plains, NJ formerly of Butler, NJ, passed away Saturday, June 18th, 2011. May was born in Jersey City, NJ, to the late Thomas H. and May H. Lowe. She served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, was a member of the American Legion and worked for the First National Bank in Bloomingdale before retiring. May enjoyed spending time with her family and her friends at Cedar Crest in Pompton Plains. She is survived by her loving sister, Betty Barrett and her dear nieces and nephews, John H. Barrett III, Jane E. Rochacewicz, Jeff L. Barrett, Jill A. Heck and Joan E. Oliphant. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Vincent Babcock and Joseph A. Jackovics. A memorial gathering will be held Thursday, June 23rd, 2011, from 2pm to 4pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ.
