Nancy C Simpson

Nancy C Simpson, age 82, of Wanaque, formerly of Butler, died Wednesday, May 7, 2014. Mrs. Simpson was born in East Cameron, PA, the daughter of the late Emory and the late Catherine ( Engel). She was a member of the Pompton Lakes Elk Women's Auxiliary. Nancy is survived by her children; daughter Nancy Vumbaca and son, Kenneth Mackey; two grandchildren, Patti Wiggins and Amy Turner; three great-grandchildren, Delaney, Tierney and Maclean Wiggins; brothers, Darvin Weikel and two foster brothers, Denny and Jeff Deska; one sister, Betty Whitfield and foster sister, Sue Zukokwski. She was predeceased by her brothers, Raymond and Paul Weikel, two foster sisters, Shelly Schofield and Caroline Alkema; foster mother and father, Evelynn and George Deska. Nancy is also survived by her beloved dog, Jackson. Visitation will be held Monday, May 12, 2014 from 11:00AM -1:00PM at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held Monday also at 1:00PM at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Mt. Rest Cemetery, Butler, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge, 2 Shelter Lane, Oakland, NJ 07436 will be appreciated.
