Robert H. Rapp

Robert H. Rapp, age 77, of West Milford, formerly of Wanaque, entered into eternal peace, Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at his home in West Milford. Mr. Rapp was born in Pompton Lakes, NJ the son of the late William and the late Dorothy (Bishop) Rapp. He was a parishioner of St. Josephs RC Church, West Milford,NJ. He owned The Robert H. Rapp Paving Co. he founded in 1957. Bob was a devoted catholic who also had close ties to St. Francis of Assisi in Wanaque.Loving husband of the late Elaine, wonderful father to Michael Rapp and wife Kathleen, Robin Jurgensen and husband Bob, Christine Ferguson, Patrick Rapp and wife Kathleen, Kathleen DeBlock, John Rapp and Dorothy Rapp. Also proud grandfather of eighteen grandchildren and two beautiful Greatgrandchildren with three more on the way. Family meant everything to him.Visiting hours will be Thursday, May 15, 2008, from 2:00 -4:00 and 7:00-9:00pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. The funeral will be Friday May 16, 2008, 10:00am at St. Josephs RC Church, West Milford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Butler.
