Robert Lee Woods

Robert Lee Woods III, known by many as "Lee," passed away at home on July 17, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Lee was born June 6, 1943, in Englewood, NJ, to Signe and Robert Lee Woods, Jr. He was raised in Palisades Park and lived in West Milford before settling in Bloomingdale. He was a 1961 graduate of Cliffside Park High School and went on to be an "A" Journeyman Electrician with Local 3, IBEW, in New York City before retiring in 2005. Lee was predeceased by his loving wife Jane Anne (Yanis) earlier this year. Lee is survived by his son Robert L. Woods IV (Michelle), son Brian M. Woods, daughter Kimberly N. Woods, and two grandchildren Meghan L. Woods and Robert L. Woods V. He is also survived by his sister Arlyn Lynch (Marty), and his brothers Gary Woods (Joyce), and Donald Woods (Lisa), and many nieces. Lees life-long hobby was bowling. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, golf, and baseball. He loved to tell stories and chat with anyone he met. He and Jane enjoyed going to garage sales, looking for a unique find. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, July 21, 2022, at The Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ, 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm. A funeral service will be held Friday, July 22, 2022, at 11am at the funeral home with internment following at North Hardyston Cemetery, Hamburg, NJ. . There are no gallery images.
