Ann Lee (Ryan) Stanford, 92 years old, passed away on Saturday, October 23rd with loving family by her side, surrounded by the love and care of her extended family at Sacred Heart. She was welcomed into heaven by her husband, Walter Stanford; her son, Stephen Stanford; her daughter, Lee Ann (Stanford) Thompson; her brothers, Joseph Ryan, Jr., Richard Ryan, Donald Ryan, Thomas Ryan and her stepfather Raymond Power. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth (Stanford) Normann; son-in-law, Edward Normann; son, Mark Stanford and daughter-in-law, Janice Stanford; her grandchildren: Heather Mines, Rachel Schleich, Melissa Callans, Sarah Seiz, Kristen Xander, Ryan Thompson, and Jessica Diasodse; her twelve great grandchildren: Christiana, Alyssa, Cassandra, & Rebekah Schleich, Morgan & Mckenna Cliver, Christopher & Lauren Callans, Layla & Lilo Seiz, Elsa Hoderewski, & Shea Xander as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Ann was born in Lynn, MA to the late Joseph Ryan, Sr. and Helen Ryan. She raised her family in Kinnelon, NJ. Ann worked well into her 70s as a registered nurse. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all who knew her. Ann was a devout Catholic and placed great value in her faith in God. She cherished her husband and loved to share stories of their travel adventures. Ann was a strong and spirited woman who made an impression on everyone she met. She will be deeply missed. The family would like to say a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff at Family Pillars Hospice for all of their care and compassion. Viewing hours will be Wednesday, November 3rd 2021 from 10:30 am-12:30 pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated privately.
