Anna T. Strauss, age 90, of Butler, formerly of the Township of Washington, Bergen County, NJ, died Monday, September 19, 2022. Mrs. Strauss was born in Queens, NY, the daughter of the late Stephen and the late Teresa Perkins. She was the Secretary to the head of Long Term Care in Bergen Pines County Hospital in Paramus before retiring. She is survived by her beloved children, Frederick L. Strauss and his wife Kristina of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Edward S. Strauss of Butler, New Jersey, her cherished grandchildren, Heather Love and husband Todd, Sarah Jean Strauss, Sam, Krissy, Kerrigan and Ashley, and her adored great grandchildren, Hadley, Emerson and Teagan Joseph. Anna was predeceased by her devoted husband, WW II US Air Force veteran, Frederick T. Strauss.
Anna was a very charitable woman, and sadly, is the last of her generation in her family. Anna was a woman of great faith and spirituality. She enjoyed exploring and vacationing with her family. She always loved a good road trip. She was a known card shark to her family, inventing new rules to rummy when necessary. She had a youthful love for Betty Boop and QVC shopping, and always enjoyed movies and music, even in later years dancing to the Glenn Miller Orchestra in her kitchen with her walker.
