Anne T. Wachter

Anne T. Wachter, born on July 21, 1932, in Brooklyn, NY, peacefully departed this life on February 3, 2026. She was a beacon of love and light, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew her.

For many years, Anne dedicated herself to being an avid volunteer with the Birth Rite/Rite to Life Organization, exemplifying her unwavering commitment to helping others. Her spirit of generosity and positivity was an integral part of her identity; she was known for her amazing, sweet disposition and for always putting others first. Anne taught us how to live and love to the fullest, making unforgettable memories that will be cherished forever.

Anne's life was enriched by her family. She is survived by her beloved sons, Christopher Wachter and Andy Wachter, who carry forward her legacy of compassion and kindness. She also leaves behind her dear brother, Harold Riker, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Matthew and Joleigh. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends are further blessed to have known her.

Anne was predeceased by her devoted husband of 55 loving years, Henry. Their enduring faith and love for each other were the foundation of their family, and Anne's memories of their life together will resonate in the hearts of her loved ones.

A visitation in honor of Anne will be held on February 10, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Our Lady of the Magnificat Roman Catholic Church, in the Ryan Room, located at 2 Miller Rd, Kinnelon, NJ. The Mass will be celebrated in her memory at Our Lady of The Magnificat RC Church on February 11, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Following the Mass, Anne will be laid to rest at Our Lady of The Magnificat Cemetery.

Though our hearts are heavy with her passing, we find solace in the countless lives she touched and the love she shared. Anne T. Wachter will forever remain in our hearts, a true testament to the beauty of a life well-lived.
