A proud graduate of Eastside High School in Paterson, Dolores's journey was marked by a remarkable career as the Head Treasury Secretary for International Specialty Products in Wayne, NJ. Her leadership and tenacity were well recognized; she was a headstrong, feisty leader who commanded respect and admiration from colleagues and friends alike. Yet beyond her professional life, Dolores’s heart lay deeply embedded in service. She selflessly devoted much of her time to working with various charities in her area, touching countless lives with her kindness and generosity.
Dolores was also renowned for her exceptional culinary skills—an amazing cook who brought warmth and comfort to her home and gatherings with loved ones. Among her proudest accomplishments was her role as a Cub Scout Den Mother, where she nurtured young minds and instilled values that would ripple through generations.
Her personal life was marked by enduring love and family ties. Dolores was a devoted wife to her late husband, Norman B. Christian. She was blessed with sons Allan B. Christian, who shares his life with Jennifer Aldrich, and Bryan B. Christian, married to Christine. The light of her life extended to her granddaughter, Annmarie Christian, whose presence brought her immense joy. Family was central to Dolores, and she held special affection for her nephews Jim Christian, Dave Christian, Tom Christian, Tom Pisaturo, as well as dear Janet Trafaro, Lynn Puzzio, Linda, Monte, and Debbie, who remain a testament to the bonds she cherished.
Though Dolores is preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters, her legacy lives vividly through those who carry her memories and values forward.
Friends, family, and community members will gather to honor Dolores’s life and spirit with a Mass at St. Anthony RC Church, located at 65 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ 07405, on April 8, 2026, beginning at 11:30 a.m. The service will be followed by a burial at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, 295 Totowa Road, Totowa, NJ 07512, commencing at 1:00 p.m.
Dolores C. Christian was a woman who faced life with courage, led with passion, and loved with an open heart. Her story is one of resilience and tenderness, a legacy that will forever inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
