Elizabeth Jane Strobel, age 71, of West Milford, formerly of Queens, NY, and Paterson, NJ, died Thursday, June 21, 2007 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pompton Plains.Mrs. Strobel was born June 9, 1936 in Paterson, N.J. the daughter of the late Harry and the late Margaret Regina (Dop) Mansmann. She married Donald Strobel February 14, 1961 at St.Bonaventure RC Church, Paterson, NJ. She was employed by Preakness Hospital Wayne, NJ as a Registered Nurse.Mrs. Strobel graduated from St.Joseph School of Nursing, Paterson, NJ.Devoted wife of Donald Strobel for 46 Years. Beloved mother of Dawn Payne, and Keith Strobel and wife Val. Cherished grandmother of Jenna, Bethany, Valmaria, and Mia. Loving sister of Margaret Patricia Barr.Visiting hours will be Monday, June 25, 2007, from 3pm to 5pm, & 7pm to 9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler. The funeral service will be Monday at 7:00pm also at the funeral home.At the families request the final disposition will be held in Private.
