Ford 'Smokey' Robbins

October 4, 1922 — April 12, 2006

Butler- Ford "Smokey" Robbins, 83,died Wedensday, April 12, 2006. A lifelong resident of Butler Mr. Robbins worked for the Pequannock Rubber Co. and the Kinnelon Board of Education before retiring in 1986. Mr. Robbins was a WWII Army Veteran. Smokey is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Grace (Edsall) Robbins. Two sons Ford J. and Rodney W. Robbins. Four grandchildren: Rebecca, Jennifer, Joseph and Mellisa. One brother, Robert Robbins and two sisters, Mildred Mathews, Edith Muchion. Also three brothers preceeded in death: Harold, Charles and Thomas. The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave. Butler, NJ, will be in charge of the arrangements. Visiting hours are Monday, April 17, 2006, 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 18, 2006 at 11:00 am. Internment to follow at North Hardyston Cemetery.
