Con profundo dolor y con inmenso amor anunciamos el fallecimiento de Francisco Montes el 5 de marzo de 2026. Nacido el 24 de agosto de 1965 en Fajardo, Puerto Rico, la vida de Francisco estuvo llena de bondad, calidez y un inquebrantable espíritu de generosidad. Rodeado de sus queridos familiares en el momento de su partida, deja un legado tejido con cariño y recuerdos entrañables.

Francisco no solo fue un esposo devoto de su esposa, Mercedes, con quien compartió 22 años de amor y compañerismo, sino también un hijo querido de su madre, Tomasa, y un hermano amado por sus cuatro hermanas. Su ausencia será profundamente sentida por sus cuatro sobrinos y tres sobrinas, así como por numerosos primos y amigos que fueron tocados por su espíritu amoroso. Francisco fue precedido en la muerte por su adorado padre, Abraham Fuentes.

Francisco era conocido por su extraordinaria habilidad para cocinar, una pasión que reunía a las personas alrededor de la mesa. Sus creaciones culinarias eran más que simples comidas; eran expresiones de amor, cada plato preparado con ternura y dedicación, alimentando tanto el cuerpo como el alma. Cada viaje de pesca era una oportunidad para fortalecer lazos, compartir historias y crear recuerdos duraderos.

La personalidad de Francisco brillaba intensamente; era una persona muy amable, generosa y desinteresada, con un don extraordinario para ver lo bueno en cada persona. Tenía una capacidad especial para alegrar cualquier situación, transformando lo cotidiano en algo especial. Su espíritu generoso y su sincero cariño por los demás dejaron una huella imborrable en todos aquellos que tuvieron la fortuna de conocerlo.

Familiares y amigos están invitados a acompañarnos para honrar la memoria de Francisco durante el velorio que se llevará a cabo el 8 de marzo de 2026, de 4:00 PM a 8:00 PM, en Butler United Methodist Church, ubicado en 5 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ 07405. El servicio fúnebre se realizará el 9 de marzo de 2026 a las 11:00 AM, también en Butler United Methodist Church. Posteriormente, Francisco será sepultado en East Ridgelawn Cemetery and Crematory en Clifton, NJ.

It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Francisco Montes on March 5, 2026. Born on August 24, 1965, in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, Francisco's journey through life was one filled with kindness, warmth, and an unyielding spirit of generosity. Surrounded by beloved family members at the time of his passing, he leaves behind a legacy woven with affection and cherished memories.

Francisco was not only a devoted husband to his wife, Mercedes, with whom he shared 22 years of loving partnership, his cherished mother, Tomasa and also four loving sisters. His absence will be deeply felt by his 4 nephews and three nieces, as well as a multitude of cousins and friends who were touched by his loving spirit. Francisco pre deceased by his adored father, Abraham Fuentes.

Francisco was known for his remarkable ability to cook, a passion that brought people together around the table. His culinary delights were more than just meals; they were expressions of love, each dish imbued with tenderness and care, feeding both the body and soul. He was always the one to gather friends and family, creating a haven of comfort and joy through his cooking. Those who had the pleasure of sharing a meal with him will forever remember the warmth and laughter that filled the air. It is said that a kitchen filled with Francisco's presence was a kitchen filled with happiness.

Fishing was another beloved hobby of his, where he found solace and joy in nature’s embrace. He relished the calm waters and the thrill of the catch, but more importantly, it was the time spent with family and friends on those tranquil outings that he cherished most. Each fishing trip was an opportunity to bond, share stories, and create lasting memories.

Francisco’s personality shone brightly; he was very kind, unselfish, and had an extraordinary gift for seeing the good in everyone. He possessed a remarkable ability to uplift any situation, effortlessly transforming the mundane into something special. His generous spirit and genuine care for others left a permanent imprint on all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Friends and family are invited to join in honoring Francisco's memory during a visitation service on March 8, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Butler United Methodist Church, located at 5 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ 07405. A funeral service will follow on March 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM, also held at Butler United Methodist Church. Afterward, Francisco will be laid to rest at East Ridgelawn Cemetery and Crematory in Clifton, NJ.
