George J. Jones, age 72 of Butler, NJ died peacefully Monday, April 22 2024 after a short illness in Pennsylvania. Mr. Jones lived in Butler all his life up until his move to Pennsylvania 9 months ago to spend time with his niece and family till his passing.

George worked in the Kinnelon School District as a janitor and enjoyed everyone. He was a strong willed  and independent person.  He loved his scratch off tickets and going to the newsstand in Bloomingdale everyday to spend time with his friends.

George is survived by his loving nieces Michelle Hogen and Colleen Jones- Erazo  and nephew  Richard Jones.

The last 9 months he was with us he was happy, peaceful and got to fulfill his life to the end. He was loved by many people and will be greatly missed everyday.
