Gordon 'Pete' H. Waite

WAITE Gordon "Pete" H., age 96, of Wantage, NJ, formerly of Bloomingdale, NJ, died Wed- nesday, October 31, 2012. Mr. Waite was born in Pequannock, NJ the son of the late Peter and the late Flora (Mickens) Waite. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII, a member of the American Le- gion Post 154 in Butler and worked as a heavy machine operator for Della Penna Con- struction in Haskell, NJ. He is survived by his beloved chil- dren, Jeanette Wakefield and husband Greg, Rod Waite and wife Kate, seven cherished grandchildren, ten great- grandchildren, three-great great-grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Gordon was pre de- ceased by his devoted wife Lil- lian and son Gordon "Pete" W. Waite. Viewing hours will be Sunday, November 4th, 2012, from 6-9 PM at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be held Monday 11 AM also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, NJ.
