Grace Elizabeth (Ledwith) Koning (nee Coppola), 73, of Ladson, South Carolina, formerly of Bloomingdale, NJ, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, January 16, 2022. Grace was born in Newark and raised in Lincoln Park before moving to Bloomingdale, where she raised her three boys, Jimmy, Tommy and Chris Ledwith. She married Joseph Koning in September 1990, and retired to Summerville, SC. Grace leaves behind her sons, Jimmy Ledwith and wife Karen, Tommy Ledwith and wife Tammy, and Chris Ledwith and wife Anita, stepsons Daniel Koning and wife Patty and children and Joseph Koning and significant other. Also surviving are her two brothers, Thomas Coppola and wife Janet, and Albert Coppola, and her beloved grandchildren Hunter, Madison, Robert, Shannon, Nick, Joey, Danielle, Dana and Emily and several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Koning, parents, Joseph and Antionette Coppola, and brother Joseph Coppola. Visitation will be Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 8:00AM-9:30AM at the Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be offered at 9:30AM on Saturday also at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow the service at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. . There are no gallery images.
