John J Kalinoski

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our loving dad, John Kalinoski Sr. a beloved Husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Born and raised in Scranton PA finally settling in West Milford NJ with his wife Judy of 65 years where they raised their 4 children.

After working at Marotta Scientific for 45 years he found an immense joy in the simple pleasures of life like traveling Whether it was going down the shore, going to Florida during the cold new jersey winters or Virginia to visit 2 of his grandsons where he loved taking them to the movies.

When he wasn’t traveling he never missed a chance to spend time with his other 2 grandchildren whether it was sporting events, awards ceremonies at school, lunch dates or just driving them around.

He was also an avid Yankees fan and never left the house without his yankees hat

John is survived by his 2 daughters and their families

- Kathy and husband Kevin Licklider of of Charlottesville VA

- Kim and husband Ron Heddy Jr of West milford NJ

And 4 cherished grandchildren

- Justin, Ryan, his wife Molly Licklider, Alyssa & Michael Heddy

John is predeceased by his loving wife Judy(2014), Son Paul (1985), & son John Jr (2020)

Our family would like to give a special thanks to Arden Court of Wayne for the love and care they gave our dad over the last 2 years. We don't know what we would have done without all his amazing caregivers who he loved dearly.

Even though are hearts are broken we find relief in knowing he is reunited with his wife and sons in heaven and we can’t wait for the day we see them all again

A private graveside service will be held at a later date
