Lee C. Weatherwalks

Lee C. Weatherwalks, of Bloomingdale, New Jersey, passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 91. He was born on October 26, 1934, in Midvale, New Jersey, and lived a long life marked by devotion to his family, quiet strength, and steadfast service to others.

Lee graduated from Pompton Lakes Highh School and went on to proudly serve in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He later worked at Meadox Medical in Oakland, New Jersey, where he remained until his retirement. He was a man who valued both family and work, and those who knew him understood how deeply he cared through the life he built and the responsibilities he faithfully carried.

At the center of Lee’s life was the love he held for his family and his circle of friends. He was an amazing provider, always putting his family before himself and giving of what he had with a generous heart. Reserved by nature and not one to show much emotion outwardly, he nevertheless made his happiness and love known in the steady, dependable way he lived each day. He also enjoyed the simple pleasure of watching golf on television, a pastime that brought him quiet enjoyment.

Lee shared 66 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Clara, a remarkable bond that stood as a lasting testament to love and commitment. He is also survived by his daughter Cheryl Gentles and her family; his granddaughter Megan Alesandro and her husband, Robert; his grandson Freddie Comptom and his wife, Aylssa; and his cherished great-grandchildren Brett, Landon, Penelope, Isabella, Chase, Everleigh, Bryce, Brynleigh, and Hudson. He is further survived by Donna Weatherwalks , Bruce Weatherwalks and his family, Craig Weatherwalks and his family, and Stanley Weatherwalks and his family. Each of them carries forward the memory of a man whose care for his loved ones was evident in every part of his life.

He was preceded in death by his daughters, Dawn Compton and Lisa McGuire. Their memory remained an enduring part of his life and will be held close by all who loved him.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on September 13, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at The Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home, Inc., 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, New Jersey 07405. A funeral service will be held there on September 13, 2026, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Lee C. Weatherwalks will be remembered with love for his loyalty, his sacrifice, his quiet nature, and the unwavering way he cared for his family. His life was one of constancy and devotion, and his memory will remain a blessing to all who knew him.
