Lillian Decker

Lillian Decker, age 86, of Stockholm, died Tuesday, November 10, 2009. Mrs. Decker was born in Passaic, NJ, the daughter of the late Giuseppe and the late Maria (Bencivenni) Ferruzza. She was employed by PetPourri Fairfield, NJ as Bookkeeper. Mrs. Decker pioneered and founded two churches, Calvary Temple in Wayne, NJ and Pompton Valley Christian Assembly in Butler, NJ. She is survived by her beloved children, Arthur Decker Jr. and wife Diane, Carol Wheelock and husband Walter, Timothy Decker and wife Linda, and Janet Michaels and husband Randy, her loving siblings, Josephine Emma, Loretta Dull, Eugene Ferruzza, and David Ferruzza, thirteen cherished grandchildren, and five adored great-grandchildren. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Lillian was predeceased by her devoted husband Arthur Decker Sr. and her dear brother Robert Ferruzza. Viewing hours will be Friday, November 13th ,2009, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at Cross Roads Church, 12 Edsall St, Hamburg, NJ. A funeral service will follow the viewing at 5:00pm also at the church. Burial will be in Mt. Rest Cemetery, Butler on Saturday.
