Lillian W Guzy

Lillian W. Guzy, 94, of Pompton Plains, formally of the Bronx and Fair Lawn, passed away August 27, 2018. Lillian was born in the Bronx, daughter of the late Louis and Pauline Wolfand. She was a graduate of Hunter College in New York and started her career as a lab technician at St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie. After raising her family, she worked at the Fairleigh Dickinson University Dental School in Hackensack, NJ before retiring. Lillian was a former chapter president and member of the National Council of Jewish Women. She is survived by her beloved children, Sharon Guzy- Levine and husband Ira and Michael Guzy and wife Grace Amedeo-Guzy, her cherished grandchildren Amanda and Alyssa and also is survived by her adored grand dogs, Moby and Chelsea. Lillian was predeceased by her devoted husband Joseph. Services will be held at a future date. Arrangements were entrusted to The Morrison Funeral Home Butler, New Jersey.
