Marrianne P. Yodice, a beacon of kindness and a beloved matriarch, passed away peacefully at home on July 24, 2025, at the age of 75, surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 9, 1950, in Paterson, NJ, Marrianne brought light and warmth to all who knew her.
A proud graduate of Lakeland High School in Wanaque, NJ, Marrianne dedicated many years of her life to her career. She worked at Max is Back and later brought joy to many families at the Bloomingdale Day Care Center working along side her sister. The spirit of family was ever-present in her life, especially during her time at D & G Deli, where she created cherished memories with her family in Butler, NJ.
Marrianne was not only known for her hard work but for her exceptional cooking skills and her unyielding love for her family. As a grandmother, she embraced her role with joy and devotion, affectionately earning the title of "Nana." Her grandchildren, Michael, Bella, Rocco, Adriana, Matteo, and Marco, were the apples of her eye, and she took immense pride in their achievements and happiness. With the exciting arrival of great-grandchild Christopher and another on the way, Marrianne's legacy will continue through her family.
Marrianne was married to her beloved husband, Frank C. Yodice, Jr., now deceased, and her heart lives on with her children: daughter Tara Lyn Yodice and sons Frank V. Yodice (Alicia), Nick Yodice, and Marc Yodice (Nicolette). Together, they carry the memories of her unconditional love, her kindness, fairness, and her nurturing spirit.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dominick and Genevieve (Mendillo) Passenti, and siblings Dennis Passenti and Donna Schmiedhauser. The love and guidance she received from her family played a significant role in the incredible person she became.
Marrianne leaves behind a legacy of kindness, compassion, and cherished family traditions. Her remarkable journey has touched countless hearts, and her spirit will forever remain within those she loved so dearly. As her family reflects on the beautiful moments shared, they take solace in knowing that her love will be an eternal guiding light in their lives.
