Obituary Martin Joseph Kwesko June 2, 1949 - May 11, 2022 Martin "Marty" J Kwesko of West Ocean City Maryland passed away Wednesday afternoon at the Chilton Medical Center in Pompton Plaines, New Jersey surrounded by his loving family. Marty, born and raised in Newark, NJ, was the son of the late Joseph Kwesko Jr and Jean (Martin) Kwesko. After graduating from Arts High School he entered the Marine Corps and served his country in the Vietnam War. Marty received three Purple Hearts for injuries during his service. Marty went on to work for the Benjamin Moore Co for 46 years and retired to West Ocean City Maryland. He joined the First State Detachment Marine Corps League and went on to serve as Commandant for three years. Marty was preceded in death by his parents and his dear sister Lois. Marty is survived by his wife Karen, daughter Nichole and her husband Mike Gawronski, two grandchildren Anastazia and Gavin of Butler, his niece Jasmine and two grandnephews William and Christopher of North Miami Florida and many, many family members and friends. Marty loved his life, loved his family, loved his fellow Marines and loved his country. He was a great cook and the number one "grill master". He Loved Kayaking, fishing and volunteering for the Marine Corps League. He was generous to a fault and would be ready to jump in to help anyone in need. His grandchildren were everything to him. We have so many memories to hold us over until we meet him again under Gods watchful eye.
