Mary Morse Aquadro

Mary Morse Aquadro, 88, passed away February 20, 2011, at Taylor Hospice House in Des Moines. Mary was born May 22, 1922, in Butler, NJ, to Douglas and Marjorie Morse. She married Edward J. Aquadro May 23, 1942. They shared 45 years together and raised three children. She served in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII. Mary enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an avid reader, loved traveling, and spoke fluent French. Mary is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Dan Hepplewhite) Aquadro; sons, Doug (Margareta Palmgren) Aquadro and Bob (Janet) Aquadro; grandchildren, Ed Hepplewhite, Robert Aquadro and Lina Aquadro; sisters, Helen Guenter and Barbara Bailey; brother, Douglas Morse; and two step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Aquadro; parents; sisters, Verna Morse, Marjorie Warner and Jean Herrick; and daughter-in-law, Helen Hodgkinson. A memorial gathering will be held Friday, May 13th, 2011, from 7pm to 9pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ.
