Michael Vincent Prisco
Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Friend. Michael Vincent Prisco (aka Mike), age 65, of Vernon, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 28th, surrounded by the love of his family and friends.
Mike was born on June 3, 1960 in Teaneck, NJ. Mike graduated North Bergen High school. Mike was a proud NJ master plumber for more than 35 years. He owned and operated MVP Plumbing & Heating. He took pride in his work and having the ability to help others. He was a devoted husband to Eileen Prisco for 44 years, a proud father to Michael and his wife Amy, Keith and his wife Melissa, Bryan and his wife Alison, and Melody and her husband Jesse, as well as a cherished grandfather to five grandchildren, Julie and Leah Prisco, Reese, Elle and Van Savela, who adored his playful nature and endless energy.
Mike lived a life full of laughter, love, family and friendship. He had a love for the outdoors and the good times that came with it. He enjoyed family camping trips, gardening with his wife, watching and coaching baseball, playing golf with his sons, attending his daughter’s sports games, fishing, playing cards and backyard games or just soaking up the sun with his loved ones on his annual family beach vacations. A cold drink in hand, he was always the life of the party—dancing, laughing, cheering on the Mets and the Cowboys, and sharing stories that left everyone smiling. Whether trying out new recipes from cooking shows or cheering on his grandkids at their sporting events, he made every moment with family and friends unforgettable. Above all, Mike was kind, generous, and the type of man who’d drop everything to help a friend. His warmth touched countless lives, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Eileen; his children and their spouses; his five grandchildren; his sister, April Tarabbochia and her husband Larry, two loving sisters in law, numerous nieces and nephews and a wide circle of friends who were like family. He was preceded in death by his parents Michael and Gail (Scavetta) Prisco and his brothers Mark and James Prisco. Rest in the sweetest peace, Mike. We will miss you more than words can express.
