Norma L Kujda

It is with great sadness that the Family of Norma Lavinia (Eastlake) Kujda, announce her passing on February 11, 2019 at the very young age of 94. Norma passed away peacefully in her home in Smoke Rise. She was born on July 25, 1924 in Mayfield, PA. Norma was 1 of 3 children born to Katherine (Wilson) and Andrew Eastlake. She was a Registered Nurse graduated from Scranton State General Hospital School of Nursing. Norma was married to Dr. Dominic Anthony Kujda on June 5, 1948. Dominic passed away on November 27, 2000 at the age of 79. He was a WWII Veteran and the Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Chilton Memorial Hospital in Pompton Plains, NJ. Norma is loved and will forever be remembered by her (4) children: Kathryn Ann (Kujda) & Terry Ray Voithofer of The Villages, FL; Nancy Carol (Kujda) Denny of Smoke Rise, Kinnelon, NJ; Frances Ellen (Kujda) & Dr. Mark Maletsky of Smoke Rise, Kinnelon, NJ: Edward Anthony Kujda of Smoke Rise, Kinnelon, NJ. Norma was blessed with 4 Grandchildren: Heather Lee (Voithofer) & Christopher Susini of Wexford, PA; Sean David Voithofer of Denver CO; Justin Mark & Wren (Larson) Maletsky of San Francisco, CA; Dr. Kristin Deanne Maletsky of Columbus, OH, and 3 Great Grandchildren: Maddox Quinn and Griffin Ray Susini of Wexford, PA: Sawyer Rose Maletsky of San Francisco, CA. A visitation will take place at the Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 4-8pm. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 16, 2019, 11am at Our Lady of Magnificat Roman Catholic Church, 2 Miller Road, Kinnelon, NJ. Her remains will be entombed beside her husband Dominic at Our Lady of Magnificat Roman Catholic Cemetery in Kinnelon, NJ (adjacent to the Church).
