Peter James Struble, 57, of Butler NJ passed away on Saturday, October 3rd, 2020. Peter was born in Pompton Plains, NJ and attended Butler High School. Graduating in 1981, Peter enlisted in the Coast Guard and was Honorably Discharged in 1983. He liked to travel and lived in many states. He is the son of Edna and Raymond Struble of Butler. Peter loved the outdoors, camping and fishing every chance he got, and followed the family tradition of joining the Boy Scouts of America, earning the rank of Life Scout. Most of all he loved spending time with his cherished grandchildren. He loved his grandchildren very much and will be sorely missed by Gabriella, Melanie, Isabella, and Joseph. He is survived by his beloved children Samantha and her husband James Robbins. Joshua Struble of Bethlehem, PA, Patrick Struble and his fianc Alicia of Bethlehem, PA and the mother of his children Annamarie, his loving siblings: Judith Swedin, Steve Brooks and wife Linda, Nancy Bird, Marianne McKernan and Barbara Sedita. Peter is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held at St. Anthonys Church in Butler, NJ, On October 24th at 11 am In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be sent in his name to the VFW Post 8096 of 69 Carey Ave, Butler, NJ. 07405. .
