Raffaele (Ralph) Basile, of Bloomingdale, NJ died suddenly, Tuesday June 2, 2020. Ralph was born in Jersey City, NJ on July 18, 1969 and moved to Wayne, NJ at the age of 13. Ralph received his BA in accounting from William Paterson University. Ralph loved to spend the summer with his family camping and enjoying everything that went along with that especially fishing with his girls. He loved to tinker in the garage and spent many hours restoring a number of classic vehicles and creating many ingenious inventions and there was never an item he couldnt fix. He always enjoyed a good laugh with family and friends alike and could find the positive in everything. Ralph would go out of his way to help and befriend everyone he met; he had an infectious smile and a twinkle in his eye. He worked 20 plus years with Prudential in Newark, NJ and had many colleagues that became cherished friends. By far Ralphs greatest joy was his family, especially his two daughters Isabella and Amelia. Anyone who spent any time with Ralph would quickly hear stories about their many adventures and escapades, their latest which was dumpster diving and bringing all their treasures home. Although they have lost their loving father at such a young age they have a lifetime of memories to cherish. He is survived by his devoted wife Sally Basile and their two beloved daughters Isabella and Amelia Basile. He is also survived by his loving parents Giuseppe and Gerarada Basile, his devoted sister Grazia Basile, adoring twin sister Anna Dugdale and her husband Brian Dugdale and his adored nieces and nephews, Angelo Schimmenti, Kainin Richards, Julia Schimmenti, Marcello Dugdale, Matteo Dugdale and Emma Schellenberg and many aunts, uncles, in-laws, cousins and friends. Everyone will always remember his laughter, smile and wonderful caring nature. Ralph was a blessing to every life he touched. Memorial hours will be on Monday June 15, 2020 from 2pm to 4pm at The Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler, NJ.
