Robert “Bob” P Siek

Robert P. Siek, 69, of Stockholm, formerly of Butler, passes away on September 28th 2019 at home surrounded by his family. Bob was born in Paterson and was the son of the late Robert J. and Janice Siek. Bob graduated from Morris County Community College and Montclair State College, was Manager at Excelsior Lumber, formed "Against the Grain" Construction Company in partnership with H. Lee Harrington, he started, owned and operated Certified Home Inspectors, owned and operated N.V.N.G. Investments, he was Building Inspector and Construction Official for the following Municipalities - Kinnelon, Butler, Bloomingdale, Pequannock, Wanaque, Chatham Township, Long Hill Township, Boro of Madison, Boro of Chatham and he retired as Deputy Boro Administrator of New Providence. He was a member of the Morris County Building Inspectors Association and served on the Board of Directors, the Butler Rotary Club and served on the Board of Directors. Bob was on th Board of Directors of Quint Homes Incorporated, member of the Ellenville Elks Club in Ellenville, NY and was a participant in the Dymond Road Sunday Morning Services. Bob is survived by his beloved children, Erin Siek and her husband Jason Johnson, Caitlin Johnson and her husband Daniel Johnson and, Nicholas Santaniello, his beloved Debbie Diee, his loving brothers, David Siek and his wife Mary, Timothy Siek and his wife Dawn and James Bourne and his wife Delilah. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. Viewing hours will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 from 4-8pm at the Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ. A Mass will be offered, 10:30 AM, on Wednesday at St. Anthony RC Church also in Butler. The final disposition will be private.
