Robert G. Findura, Jr., affectionately known as Bobby, passed away on July 25, 2025, leaving a legacy marked by dedication, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to his community. Born on August 16, 1969, in Passaic, NJ, Bobby grew up with a spirit of service that would define his life. He took pride in his role as a Police Officer for the Borough of Butler, serving the community for an admirable 30 years. Throughout his distinguished career, he was a valued member of the Passaic County Traffic Officers Association and played an integral role as a Community Policing Officer, focusing on engagement in all aspects of community events. Bobby's leadership shone brightly in his role as the Butler Police Traffic Division Supervisor, ultimately retiring as an Administrative Lieutenant. His dedication to the safety and wellbeing of others was evident in all that he did.
Beyond his professional achievements, Bobby was a family man at heart. He cherished his wife Fran, with whom he shared 26 loving years of marriage. Together they raised their children, Amanda and Lucas, who were the light of his life. Bobby's love for his family was unconditional, dedicating himself to creating precious memories with them.
Bobby was not only known for his professional integrity but also for his vibrant personality. He had a love for working out at the gym, always maintaining a smiling demeanor that brightened the lives of those around him. His joy extended to the sports he loved, often found cheering passionately for the Giants and Yankees. As he did in his work, he approached life with enthusiasm, eagerly looking forward to every opportunity to spend time with his family.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Fran; precious children, Amanda and Lucas; his dear parents, Robert G. Findora Sr. and Beverly Findora, brother, James; and fond memories with his brother-in-law Giuseppe (Donna) Mascolo and nephews Francesco and Antonio. Bobby was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Francesco and Rosetta Mascolo, whose love and guidance he cherished.
Bobby's legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him, a testament to a life well-lived, filled with purpose, love, and community spirit. His visitation will take place at The Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home in Butler, NJ, on July 29, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass will be held in his honor at St. Anthony RC Church on July 30, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM, followed by Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Totowa, NJ following the Mass.
As we remember Bobby, we are reminded of the impact one life can have on many. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever remain in the cherished memories of his loved ones and the community he served with pride and passion.
