Robert John Jameson III, affectionately known as "Bobby" and "Precious", passed away suddenly on his travel home to New Jersey on May 28, 2026. He left behind a legacy filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Born on September 8, 1983, in Pompton Plains, NJ, Bobby was a man who truly embraced life with open arms and a spirit full of joy. Those who knew Bobby will forever hold dear the memory of his radiant smile and his funny jokes. He knew how to brighten their days. He was a soul who found happiness in crafting with his hands and exploring new places. He traveled with his beloved dog Rocket, and shared stories and experiences that enriched the lives of his family and friends. He was fun, full of life, and always had an unwavering devotion to those he held most dear.

Bobby took immense pride in his son, Jack Jameson, who was his greatest accomplishment and source of joy. Equally important to him was his farm in Oregon. A place close to his heart that reflected his dedication and passion. Throughout his life, Bobby's love for his family was steadfast and deeply felt. Surviving Bobby is his devoted mother, Margie Kovatch; his beloved son, Jack Jameson; and his siblings, Kristen Jameson Brunda (Matthew) and Richard Jameson (Brittany). His nephews—Colten and Mason Brunda, Henry, Andrew, and Jeremy Jameson—who will carry forward the warmth and kindness he showed to all. Bobby’s grandfather, John L. Kovatch, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins, survive him. He will be remembered as a man who loved to travel, laugh, and share “precious” moments with those around him.He was predeceased by his father, Robert "Bobby" John Jameson Jr.; his grandmothers, MaryAnn Kovatch and Edith Muchon; and his grandfather, Robert John Jameson Sr., whose memories continue to live on in the hearts of their family.
