Shirley Monro

Shirley Monro, Age 80, of Oakland, died Monday, May 26, 2014. She was a member of the Franklin Lakes United Methodist Church, a beloved mother and friend, gourmet cook, who often prepared food for the neighbors. Shirley had a insatiable passion for tennis, cooking and the crosswords. She is survived by two sons, Scott Monro and his wife Jodi of Kinnelon and Robert Monro and his companion Gina of Oakland. She is Also survived by three loving grandchildren, Taylor, Alexa and Ashley. Arrangements were private and entrusted to the Morrison Funeral Home, Butler, NJ. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Franklin Lakes United Methodist Church.
