Susan P Indoe

Susan Patricia Indoe, age 53 of Butler, passed away on Monday, February 1, from complications due to COVID-19. Susan was the daughter of the late Joseph Indoe and Patricia (Byrnes) Indoe of Butler. Susan earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Ramapo College in 1989 and worked as a support professional at the Eastern Christian Childrens Retreat in Wykoff for more than 20 years. She also worked as a part-time dispatcher for Peapod in Wanaque for many years. Susan is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Christine and Edward Weirsky of New Egypt, NJ; her brothers Joseph Indoe of Bloomingdale, NJ, and Randy Indoe and Lori Eckhart of Newfoundland, NJ. She also leaves behind four nieces and a nephew: Kara Hinkell of Chelsea, MA; Sarah Weirsky of New Egypt, NJ and Brooke, Liam and Samantha Indoe of Newfoundland, NJ; as well as a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and lifelong friends. A memorial to celebrate Susans life will be planned for a later date when her family and friends can gather safely.
