Vera Phyllis Armona

Vera Phyllis Armona, age 86, of Dingmans Ferry, PA, formerly of Bloomingdale, NJ, passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Pocono Medical Center-Lehigh Valley Hospital, East Stroudsburg. Mrs. Armona was born January 15, 1937, in Teaneck, NJ, the daughter of the late Harold and the late Zella (Austin) Laumbach.

Vera loved to read and play games with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She worked at the Trends Newspaper in Butler, NJ before her retirement.

She is survived by her loving husband, Jack of 67 years, her beloved daughters, Margie Sweet and husband Bob and Karen Carman, her loving brother, Dean Lumbach and wife Ann, her cherished grandchildren, Sandra Huber and husband Chris, Jaclyn Campoli and husband Jeff and Samantha Manfredonio and husband Michael and her adored great grandchildren, Jeffrey, Danielle, Scarlett, and Christina. Vera is predeceased by her son John, her daughter Jacqueline, her granddaughter Danielle, her brother Harold and son-in-law Andy.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 21st ,2023, from 1:00pm-3:00pm at The Morrison Etheridge Funeral Home Inc., 86 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, N.J. A funeral service will be held Sunday 3pm also at the funeral home. The final disposition will be private.
