Violet 'Jean' Anderson

Violet "Jean" Anderson, age 77, of Butler, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 3, 2020. Ms. Anderson was born in Pequannock, NJ, the daughter of the late Frank and the late Doris Anderson. Violet was an Administrative Assistant for Wilson Sporting Good in Edison, NJ and later worked for the New York Times in Sarasota Florida before retiring. Jean loved to golf, read about history and research genealogy on Ancestory.com. She is survived by many dear cousins, including Diane Arnesen, whom she loved to vacation with, and Tom Finnigan and his wife Maureen. Also surviving are many friends. Violet was pre deceased by her loving companion John. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic all services were private. Arrangements were entrusted to the Morrison Funeral Home, Butler, NJ.
