Obituary William D. Freese, of West Milford, NJ, was welcome into his eternal home on Saturday July 31, 2021. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and trusted God throughout his life. Born in Brooklyn, NY to the late William H. and the late Mabel Freese, William proudly served in the U.S. Navy on the submarine the US Seafox. William worked for 30 years as the plant manager for SAVA Industries in Riverdale, NJ and 10 years for Crossroads Paving and Maintenance in Pompton Plains, NJ. William is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Dorothy Lagerveld Freese; his daughter Dorothy Musella and her husband Kevin; his two sons, William Freese and Daniel Freese, sister Marilyn Jones of Arizona, three grandchildren, Sean, Danielle, and Tiffany Uribes and her husband Daniel; three great grandchildren, DJ, Mason and Dominic as well as many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 8, 2021 from 2:00 pm-6:00 pm at the Morrison Funeral Home, 86 Bartholdi Ave, Butler, NJ. A funeral service will be offered at 5:30 pm also at the funeral home. A private burial will take place on Monday, August 9, 2021 at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, NJ.
