As a former co-owner of Tintle Bros. Roofing and the Head of Maintenance for the Butler Board of Education, Bill was a skilled tradesman who brought expertise and care to every job he undertook. His commitment to excellence extended beyond his professional life; he was the go-to person when anyone had a problem, always ready to lend a hand with a smile.
Bill was a proud graduate of Butler High School and cherished his many years spent as a dedicated member of the Butler Fire Department for 52 years. As a longtime member of the Pequannock Engine and Hose Company, he spent countless hours as one of their main Apparatus Operators, responding to thousands of calls to help those in need. His unwavering spirit and dedication to serving the community were but a reflection of the generous and compassionate man he was.

Married for 47 wonderful years to his beloved wife, Cindy (Post), he fostered a home filled with love and lessons, especially for his grandchildren who knew him as "Pop", Romeo, Ruby, Kylie, Madelyn, Oliva, and Elsie. He was eager to share his knowledge and experiences with them, imparting wisdom and creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.
Outside of his familial and professional responsibilities, Bill enjoyed working in the garage, woodworking, immersing himself in the excitement of NASCAR races, and showcasing his talents in refurbishing old gas pumps. His hobbies were not just pastimes; they were expressions of his creativity and passion for life.
Bill leaves behind his beloved wife, Cindy; his cherished children, Rachel Pascual and her husband Roberto, and Billy and his wife Kaitlyn; his siblings, Dwight Tintle and Mark Tintle and the late Charles Tintle; and a wealth of loving grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were all touched by his kindness and generosity.
